"Alright,
I see what you mean. So after the auction ends, what happens next?"
The
bidding period will run for two weeks, ending on the 22nd of the
month. (Or midnight of the 21st, techinically...) Immediately
after the auction ends, I will send an email to each of the people who
made it onto the roster to request their Grand Total payment.
If you made your deposit by Paypal, the email will be sent
to
the email address linked to your Paypal account!
If
I do not receive a response within 24 hours, the bid will be
cancelled, the deposit will not be refunded, and the requested units
will be returned to the roster. You have 48 hours to send your payment,
but I must receive a response to the the notification email
within 24 hours. This is so I can finalize the roster, and
refund the folks who didn't get a spot as quickly as possible.
If
you don't write back to me within the 24 hours, or write me back to
tell me you that you can't pay for the wig, or can't pick it up if it
is a "no ship" wig, your bid will be cancelled, and your deposit will
not be refunded.
After
I have received all the payments and the roster has been filled to
capacity, I will then refund the deposits for anyone who did not make
it on to the roster for the month.
"What
if I win, but I don't get an email from you?"
If you have a winning bid at the end of the auction, and do not receive
an email from me within 12 hours, please email me immediately!
If I do not hear back from you within 24 hours of sending your
winner notification, regardless of whether or not you read the
notification, your bid will be cancelled, and the units you bid for
will be offered to someone else. I will only send one winning
bid notification per person, so it is your responsibility to
confirm your winning bid within 24 hours.
"So,
if my bid is in grey at the end of the auction, I lost?"
Not necessarily. Remember, just because you weren't on the roster by
the end of the auction, doesn't mean that you might not be on it due to
someone else cancelling or not getting back to me
within 24 hours. For instance, let's look at how that sample auction
ended.
| Bid |
Units |
Character |
| $25.00 |
1 |
Sailor Mars |
| $10.00 |
4 |
Aerith |
| $10.00 |
5 |
Sue |
| $9.00 |
11 |
SailorMoon |
| $9.00 |
4 |
Cloud - NO
SHIP |
| $6.00 |
2 |
Chloe |
|
(3
Units Left) |
|
| $9.50 |
26 |
Yuzuki |
| $7.00 |
18 |
Pala Pala |
| $7.00 |
18 |
Kyo |
| $7.00 |
6 |
Chi |
Now
what if Cloud can't come pick up his "no ship" wig, and Sailor Moon
never got back to me? This is what it would look like:
| Bid |
Units |
Character |
| $25.00 |
1 |
Sailor Mars |
| $10.00 |
4 |
Aerith |
| $10.00 |
5 |
Sue |
| $7.00 |
18 |
Pala Pala |
| $6.00 |
2 |
Chloe |
|
(0
Units Left) |
|
| $9.50 |
26 |
Yuzuki |
| $7.00 |
18 |
Kyo |
| $7.00 |
6 |
Chi |
Note:
Even though both Pala Pala and Kyo bid for identical amounts and
requested the same amount of units, Pala Pala gets priority because she
bid that amount first.
