"What the heck is she making?!"
One of the funnest parts of making this costume was the bizzarre looks I'd get from the people at the checkout counters. The girl at the craft store was probably used to people buying bags of feathers and styrofoam rings (I dunno, crafty people make some pretty weird things...), but the guy at Home Depot must've thought I was having some major home repair problems. From what I bought, it looked like my fishtank was leaking, I broke a skylight, I needed to repaint a small room, and re-caulk my tub.
