Lucifer, the Devil's rebellious son, discovers that his father is behind this, and decides that he must be stopped. When Lucifer tells his father that he believes it is wrong to kill innocent mortals, the Devil disowns him and casts him out of hell. In order to stop his father's plans, Lucifer enlists the help of Hideto Amano, the reincarnation of the Arthurian wizard, Merlin. But the Devil has a few tricks of his own... To the Comics!

Hideto Amano
In his past life, Hideto was the Arthurian Wizard known as Merlin, but when Merlin died, his magic was sealed inside his soul, never to be released again. When Hideto was 13, Lucifer, the son of the Devil, broke that seal and asked him if he would fight to save this world from his father.

Hideto was then given the "Ace of Jokers" card, also known as "Lucifer's Ace", by Lucifer himself. This card allows Hideto to use his magic as freely as he wants in order to seal the portals from hell. Hideto also must track down demons living as humans and seal them.

Lucifer
Lucifer is very kind-hearted to all mortals, despite the fact that he's the Devil's son. When learning of his father's plans to one day overthrow the mortal world, Lucifer confronted his father to tell him that he would never allow him to harm the human race. When the Devil disowned Lucifer, he searched for the one mortal who could stop his father's plans.

He found 13 year-old Hideto Amano and released the spell that sealed Hideto's true powers. During the search for the broken portals, Lucifer soon learns that his dark and sad past is finally catching up with him when he discovers that his father released Pennywise, a 500 year old demon, and has ordered him to kill Hideto and Lucifer.

Vincennty Amadeo (Vince)
Vince is a 16 year old boy who lives by himself in New York City, but he does have a family. A very LARGE family. Vince has the Italian Mafia blood in him, and when it comes to gambling, he never loses. He could live the rich life, but he chose not to and wanted to act as a commoner. (Although he still owns an Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Coupe with the licence plate that reads "Spades".)

His closest friend is a young girl named Kandi, who he later develops a crush on. When Vince crosses paths with Hideto, the two become best friends despite their age difference.

Andrei Pennywise
Nothing is known much about Pennywise's past, except that he and Lucifer had met each other before. Lucifer did something to cause Pennywise to be sealed, but the reason is still unknown.
