Hmm..Biography:

I'm currently a freshman college majoring in Digital Arts and Sciences, not by choice, but as a meeting point between me and my mother. She wanted me to major in Engineering, I wanted more art. So we hit the middle. ::shrugs:: That's how it goes sometimes.

Art history:

On to me...I have been drawing since I was little. I don't really remember exactly when, but the earliest drawings I have that are dated are from 1990/91. ::Shivers:: Scary stuff. I'm sure my mom or other family members have older art packed away somewhere. Until I began anime, I drew lots of cute, cartoony animal type creatures, thinking I couldn't draw people. Guess I was wrong....My grandmother got me started on dating all of my art though, which I really appreciate now.

When I first became interested in anime:

I first really started following an anime show in my freshman/sophomore year of high school. My friend started me on watching Sailor Moon most days, and I began my anime drawing with that show. And then a classmate noticed I drew and liked anime, so she introduced me to Fushigi Yuugi, which I was very quick to surpass her in watching the rest of the series. And I can say that Fushigi Yuugi was my anchor into the subtitled anime world, and since then I've been watching what I can get my hands on.

Influences:

I think Watase Yuu's style influenced mine somewhat since it was my first real anime series. I have no idea what else influenced it since it changes depending on what I watch sometimes, but the FY tint I think is still noticeable sometimes.

Anime I love:

There are a lot of series I've liked for their art, or story, or animation...or all three. Here are some of my favorites: Fushigi Yuugi, Escaflowne, Ayashi no Ceres, Fruits Basket, Saiyuki, Aa! Megami-sama, Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop, Yami no Matsuei, and Dragon Half ^_^

Thank You!

I would just like to thank all my friends who have refrained from making fun of my art all the time, and those who have helped me design characters, or fix things that I couldn't see. You know who you are (E'hem..Brie and company).

I would also like to thank my friend Shauna for being as crazy as she is, and being there to drool over my bishounen. ^____^ And Maria, for dragging me into the world of shounen-ai-hehe.
