Step 1: Change your "Greyscale" Image to "RGB" Color
The first step to coloring your picture is to make sure it's in color!^_^
When we left our little ice skater in the last lesson, we had changed the color mode to "Greyscale". Now we need to switch it to "RGB". (Red, Green, Blue.)
Some of you are now scratching your heads and saying, "I thought Red, Yellow, and Blue are the primary colors?"
Red, Yellow, and Blue are the primary colors. However, Red, Green, and Blue are the primary colors of light. These are the colors that TVs and monitors display in. (Try squirting a little window cleaner on your screen, and look at the parts magnified through the drops. What we see as white is actually the combined effect of equal parts of R,G,B!)
