Step 2: Ink your lines.
Non-photo blue pencils can be waxy, and this may make the use of some inks (like the ink found in many technical pens) on your lines difficult. If you prefer using a stylus, quill pens, or a brush, you shouldn't have any problems with getting the "India Ink" to stick to the blue lines. Permanent markers (like Sharpies) also work, but may not offer you the line clarity you desire.

In this example, our artist is using a very sharp graphite pencil (plain old #2) for her inking. This method is suitable if you aren't concerned about the appearance of the original page.

As you already "drew" the image with the blue pencil, retrace only the lines you want to keep in your final version.
