Step 1: Materials
In our examples, we'll be using:
- 14"x17" Smooth Surface Bristol
- 30°/60° Triangle
- 45mm/18inch Ruler
- Engineer's Scale
- Non-Photo Blue Pencil

Note: While there are companies that produce "pre-lined" bristol sheets for use in comics and manga, we've found that these art boards tend to be either lower quality, or too pricey compared to lining them yourself.
