Bristol Board and A Good Ruler: The backbone of comic pages.
Bristol Board or "Art Board" is the canvas preferred by comic and manga artists, not only for it's durability and resistance to creasing, but also for it's smooth texture and versatility to be used with various illustrative mediums. (Pencil, ink, pastels, markers, etc...)
In this lesson, we will discuss proper sizing and layout for standard manga pages, using both Japanese (think metric!) and Western measurements.
