Well sports fans, it has been a good run, but the time has come for Ryuhana Press to shut down. All of our artists have moved on to college lives and Katie has grown so busy with her wig business and manga career, that she is unable to take on new students. This leaves little room for us writers so, we shuffle off as well. As of this Saturday, February 7th 2004, the domain will officially be shut down.

However, this is not the end. The entire point of this website was to help educate new manga artists about the inside workings of the industry, and to give our artists a hands-on lesson about the tough world of publishing. After three years, our artists have grown to have a better understanding of the behind-the-scenes apects of manga, and are now more prepared to embark on their artistic journeys. Our mission can be considered a success. ^_^

All of the tutorials and articles will be moved to Katie's website so that you can still view them and use them as you deem fit. The fanart gallery will also be moved to Kate's site, but the artist galleries will be deleted.

In case you still want to get in contact with any of us, here are our e-mail addresses. Please remove the appropriate "[SPAM SUCKS]" from the address, obviously. 9_9'

Katie: katie@[SPAM SUCKS]katiebair.com
Justin: olsoamnesiac@[SPAM SUCKS]hotmail.com
Shannon: shannon.hommerbocker@[SPAM SUCKS]worldnet.att.net
Ed: ed@[SPAM SUCKS]clockworkchihuahua.com
Jodon: digitalruse@[SPAM SUCKS]theruse.net

That should about cover it. Thanks to everyone for thier support and visiting. We hope we made it fun, and interesting. And who knows, someday Katie might get enough time to take up helping some more students again. (We can only hope...) "Til we meet again."
