Ed shows the girls of Ryuhana Press his new boxer briefs. (It was only fair!)

Ed's kinky side.

Besides earning his Master's at Peabody, Ed also spent a few years in a convent studying...um, God.

Ed shows the Ryuhana girls his "White Boy Groove".

Ahhh... Birthdays are a blessed time.
Posted: June 21th, 2002
(The Summer Solstice, The Longest Day of the Year)

As you were probably not aware, but soon will be, our very own Ed the Editor's birthday is today, and what better way to recognize the blessed event than to embarrass him in a public forum?

Oh! We forgot to mention it before?!

How could we as he makes sure to remind us constantly that June 21st is not only his birthday, but also the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year. So, if nothing else, you have the most time to get a tan today.

Back to Ed.

Who is he? What does he do? Does he really love himself as much as his shameless marketing would have you believe?

To answer these questions we only need direct you to Slick. Yes, that crazy character from Sinfest. Ed is the real life incarnation of this little pimp wannabe.

Take note of "Exhibit A": This panel is from a strip in which Slick was admiring the "posterior" of the woman and felt that it was only fair that she was able to do the same.

Ed is positive that he is God's gift to women and assures us that not only does he have "magic hands" but that girlies melt at the very mention of his name, or at least they should. (It's okay Ed,we still love you.)

If Freud were still alive today, Ed would be a significant specimen as he is also the physical embodiment of the Ego. He's not too proud to be the first to say he's arrogant. He loves to say that he can do or have anything if we just give him three days. Though he neglects to note these amazing acomplishments in his autobiography, we think everyone should know that (according to Ed) he:

...All before the age of 17!

So you must be thinking by now, "Why the heck do you guys hang out with him?" Well don't write him off just yet, as Ed has a sensitive side.

*Insert Audience 'Awwww...' Here*

He tends to spontaneously be a ray of sunshine and inspiration, he's a great listener, and he's eager to help people improve themselves, so what better position for him than Editor? (No, Ed, we didn't mean that kind of position...) Besides, no matter how much a writer might think they know, they can always count on the editor to put in more than his two cents to help.

So Ed, we wish you a happy birthday. The message board is to your left. You are more than welcome to try and defend yourself. ~_^

-Team Ryuhana

PS: We aren't sure if he's 19 or 37 this year, and like any good woman, he'll never tell.
