Cosplay Series 1: "Seasonal Pinup Girls"
The reporter who did the article about me in the Fresno Bee asked if I could get him some "good" shots of me in costume since, well, I didn't have any.

Originally, I was going to just bring Pepper (Koshouko), but I couldn't make up my mind and ended up taking all four pinup girls to the studio. (Much to the photographer's dismay...)

All photos were taken at Clique Photography by Lianne Neptune. (One of my wig helpers!)

Just about enough to rot your teeth...
Blossom, The Spring Pinup Girl.
Spring is the time when life begins anew. With soft colors and a sweet disposition, Blossom is sure to brighten any day.

The design is ballet inspired, but still has the Pinup Girl elements to keep things interesting. There are ruffles, flowers, and bows on every part of the costume, yes, even the ruffled bloomers.~_^

Ballet in 6 inch platform heels...

"My goodness, even my bum is ruffled!"

Tights stolen from Ronald McDonald.
Pepper, The Summer Pinup Girl.
Life is at it's fullest during the summer. Chock full of color and energy, Pepper is all about celebration!

Inspired by Carmen Miranda, and her fruity hats, this costume is lots of fun, and cheers people up just by seeing it. I mean, really, who can take themselves too seriously when they've got a pound of fake fruit and a bird on their head?

Ask me if you can eat my hat one more time, and I'll punch you in the mouth.

No, it is not a coincidence that Karaoke Kate's costume is also yellow, green, red and purple... now bug off before I grin even bigger.

"I've had this giant watermelon since I was a child! People, always trying to take it from me! Why won't they leave me alone?!"

Pumpkin, The Autumn Pinup Girl.
Autumn brings cooler weather, stark colors, and a somber effect as life prepares to sleep through winter. Melodramatic with a hidden smile, Pumpkin sets the tone for the season.

This costume was gothic inspired, but not Goth. In a way, Autumn is the season of death. Nothing blooms, animals search for food through decaying leaves, and the sky is often filled with clouds. But under the surface, there's still life, harvest, and celebration. So although the long black skirt and feathers drown out most of Pumpkin's curves, she's still got some fun underneath it all. ~_^

It must be Halloween, that's the only time Pumpkin smiles... get it? A smiling pumpkin?! Oohhhh... I'm lame.

This picture looks like an ad for something, but I don't know what. o_0'

"I can't believe Angel is going off the air. Now where will I get my Lorne fix?"
Sugar, The Winter Pinup Girl.
Winter, although covered in a beautiful sheet of sparkling white snow, is still cold, bitter, and heartless. Just like Sugar.

This costume was inspired by a mix of a go-go dancer, and a vegas show girl. (Look but don't touch.) The glittery white feathers are meant to give the design a soft, snowy look, while the dark blue accents keep your eyes moving.

And yes, I can dance in those shoes, but it'll cost you $50.

Wrap your head around this: Those are my bare legs.

So many men, so little steak sauce...

"My goodness, even my bum is fluffy!"

First I will blind you with my legs, then I will devour your soul.
