Lil' Burb
Lil' Burb is a Playaah! He hangs out under his disco ball, and croons to the invisible ladies all day. I always imagine him singing things like:
"Beautiful Woman... Give me a chance to loooove yoooou!
I will treat you right, we'll be makin' love all night loooooong!"
He loves to sing, sing, sing. He sings along with me, and sometimes with the stereo if there's enough treble in the song. But I know he's just trying attract some ladies to his lovenest. In fact, when I first got my hair done blonde, he was even trying to hit on me! Like I was a really big canary or something!
I've contemplated getting him a lady-friend, but I think I'll wait until after I have to move back across the country again. Taking one Canary on a 3000+ mile car trip isn't that bad, but taking two adult birds and many baby birds is an entirely different matter!
